<br />STATE OF TEXAS <br /> <br />) <br />) <br />) <br /> <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br /> <br />COUNTY OF LAMAR <br /> <br />THAT, the CITY OF PARIS, Paris, Texas, a municipal corporation, doing <br /> <br />business as Paris Police Department's Beat the Heat, an affiliate of North Texas Beat the <br /> <br />Heat Association, an anti-drug public relations activity, acting by and through its City <br /> <br />Manager, Michael E. Malone, duly authorized, hereinafter called CITY, and BILLY R. <br /> <br />HILL, hereinafter called CONTRACTOR, do hereby contract and agree as follows: <br /> <br />1. CONTRACTOR shall provide to CITY the use of a 1984 Cutlass, which <br />will be used for the purpose of hot-rod racing. <br />2. Within or at the end of two (2) years, CITY agrees to return to <br />CONTRACTOR the 1984 Cutlass, or, if said automobile is not returned <br />within or at the end of two (2) years, CITY agrees to pay CONTRACTOR <br />$4,500.00, which is the agreed upon value of said automobile. <br />3. CITY has the right to unilaterally terminate this agreement at any time. In <br />the event of CITY's unilateral termination of this agreement during the <br />primary term hereof, the CITY is bound to return or pay as agreed in <br />paragraph number 2 above. <br /> <br />day of April, 1994. <br /> <br />Executed this <br /> <br />CITY OF PARIS <br /> <br />By: <br /> <br />Michael E.
