<br />RESOLUTION NO. 98-164 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, !he City of Paris did heretofore receive proposals for the performing of all <br />work required to wash down, inspect, and prepare bid specifications for tbe complete <br />rebabilitation of !he City's 500,000 gallon elevated water tank under !he "West Elevated Storage <br />Tank Rehabilitation Project"; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, !he best proposal for such services was made by Pittsburg Tank & Tower <br />Company, Inc. of Henderson, Kentucky, and it should be awarded the project; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the form of the contracts for sucb project, attached hereto as Exhibit A, <br />should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, should be authorized to <br />execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, that the <br />proposal of Pittsburg Tank & Tower Company, Inc. the for performing of all work required to <br />wash down, inspect, and prepare bid specifications for the complete rehabilitation of the City's <br />500,000 gallon elevated water tank under the "West Elevated Storage Tank Rehabilitation Project" <br />be, and the same is hereby, accepted; and, <br /> <br />BE IT t'URTHER RESOLVED, that the fonn of the contracts with Pittsburg Tank & <br />Tower Company, Inc., attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same are hereby, approved; and, <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor, Charles H. Neeley, be, and he is <br />hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the contracts wi!h <br />Pittsburg Tank & Tower Company, Inc., upon the terms and conditions and in the fonns shown <br />in Exhibit A, attached hereto. <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of December, 1998. <br /> <br />l: /~ 1/ <br /> <br />Charles H.
