<br />C. 549 8th Street NE, Lot 5, City Block 63-A <br />Chad Brown made a motion that the building be demolished within 30 <br />days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish the <br />building. Harrell Tippitt seconded the motion. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />D. 702 E. Booth, Lot 16, City Block 63-A <br />Foster Stone, 1330 10th Street NE, appeared and said he wants to repair <br />the structure. Work has already begun and can be completed within <br />30 days. Chad Brown made a motion that the building be repaired <br />within 45 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty. The motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />E. 720 Grove Street, Lots 8 & 9, Block 1, Estes Addition <br />Chad Brown made a motion that the building be demolished within 30 <br />days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish the <br />building. Harrell Tippitt seconded the motion. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />F. 1180 25th Street NE, Lot S Pt. 25, City Block 259 <br />Robert Talley advised that this structure has fire damage, and animals <br />are getting into it. Gene Rader, 2565 Clark Lane, stated he would try <br />to have the structure torn down within 30 days. Chad Brown made the <br />motion that the building be demolished within 60 days with a $1,000 <br />per day civil penalty and, if the building is not demolished within the <br />60 day time period, the City will demolish the building. Chris Brown <br />seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />G. 365 29th Street NE, Lot 4, Block 4, Springlake Addition <br />Chad Brown made a motion that the building be demolished within 30 <br />days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish the <br />building. Harrell Tippitt seconded the motion. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />H. 11610th Street NE, Lot 9, City Block 32-B <br />Mike and Nell Vaughn stated that their mother owned the house <br />originally but it became tied up in an estate. Ms. Vaughn thinks that <br />the house should be demolished but there is still a lot of her mother's <br />property in the house. The house preceded the Paris fire, it was built <br />in the 1860's. The house was offered to the Historical Society. Chad <br />Brown made the motion that the property be demolished within 60 <br />days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 60 day time period, the City will demolish the <br /> <br />2006-02-20 Minutes.doc <br /> <br />Page 2 of6 <br />
