<br />Charles Council, 630 13th Street SE, stated he is trying to repair the <br />house but needs 60 days. He has cleaned up the yard. Mary Crumpler <br />made a motion that the house be repaired or demolished within 60 <br />days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and, if the house is not <br />repaired or demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will <br />demolish the house. Chris Brown seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />AA. 18 W. Hearne (the building is actually marked 24 W. Hearne), <br />Lots 19,20, & 21, City Block 157 <br />Kenneth Wood, 8303 FM 197, said that he has a demolition permit <br />and has talked with Josh Bray about tearing the structure down. TXU <br />will have the electricity off in 3-5 days. Chad Brown made a motion <br />that the structure be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day <br />civil penalty and, if the building is not demolished within the 30 day <br />time period, the City will demolish it. Harrell Tippitt seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />4. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Commission regarding <br />structures considered by code inspectors to be in violation of Article III of <br />Chapter 7 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, <br />entitled .'Substandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," and found <br />to be buildings or structures that can be rehabilitated and designated on the <br />National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic Landmark, <br />or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the City of Paris. <br />Lisa Wright reported to the Commission that the HPC had removed a structure on Pine <br />Bluff; however, the house has been sold and the new buyer is making repairs. She stated <br />she did not think the house would be brought to the Commission for action because there <br />would be no need. <br /> <br />5. Status report related to the properties on which the Commission has <br />previously issued orders. <br />Lisa Wright presented the memo to the Commission. <br /> <br />6.
