<br />Kirk Ballard, 534 CR 140, stated that this is his mother-in-Iaw's land <br />and she is deceased. He has been trying to clean the property up but he <br />needs more time. He has talked with Josh Bray but he is busy right <br />now. Chad Brown made a motion that the building be demolished <br />within 60 days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and, if the building <br />is not demolished within the 60 day time period, the City will <br />demolish the building. Harrell Tippitt seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br /> <br />V. 239 2nd Street NE, Lot Pt. Lot 2, City Block 39 <br />Chad Brown made a motion that the building be demolished within 30 <br />days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish the <br />building. Harrell Tippitt seconded the motion. The motion carried <br />unanimously. <br /> <br />W. 245 & 253 2nd Street NE, Lot Pt. of 2, City Block 39 <br />Motion was made to recuse Zach Saffle by Chad Brown, seconded by <br />Harrell Tippitt. Motion carried 4-0. Chad Brown made a motion that <br />the building be demolished within 30 days with a $1,000 per day civil <br />penalty and, if the building is not demolished within the 30 day time <br />period, the City will demolish the building. Chris Brown seconded the <br />motion. The motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Chad Brown for Zach Saffle to return to the <br />meeting, seconded by Mary Crumpler. Motion carried 4-0. <br /> <br />x. 1613 S. Main, Lot 2, Block 1, Neagle Addition <br />Cora Adams, Box 1565, Lindale, Texas, said that she will be retiring <br />soon and wants to know if she can wait a year to build a house on the <br />property. She cannot build a house on the property if there is not <br />already a house on the property. Lisa Wright advised that the program <br />that Ms. Adams is referring to is not available at this time. Ms. Adams <br />stated that she can get her brother to tear the house down. Chad <br />Brown made a motion that the building be demolished within 60 days <br />with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and, if the house is not demolished <br />within the 60 day time period, the City will demolish the house. Zach <br />Saffle seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> <br />Y. 1567 S. Main, Lot 7, Block 14, Texas & Pacific Addition <br />Chad Brown made a motion that the building be demolished within 30 <br />days with a $1,000 per day civil penalty and, if the building is not <br />demolished within the 30 day time period, the City will demolish the <br />building.
