Approving and authorizing a grant application to the Office of the <br />Governor, Criminal Justice Division, through the Ark-Tex Council of <br />Governments, for a Violence Against Women Act Grant. <br /> <br />G. Appointing members to the Main Street Advisory Board. <br /> <br />H. Stating the intent of the City of Paris, pursuant to Chapter 7 of the City <br />Charter and Section 43.142 of the Local Government Code, to disannex <br />a 116.14 acre tract of land along U.S. Highway 19/24 South forming a <br />portion of the current outer boundaries of the city limits of the City of <br />Paris. <br /> <br />I. Stating the intent of the City of Paris, pursuant to Chapter 7 of the City <br />Charter and Section 43.142 of the Local Government Code, to disannex <br />an 824.08 acre tract of land on U.S. Highway 271 South, located south <br />of Cox Field Airport forming a portion of the current outer boundaries <br />of the city limits of the City of Paris. <br /> <br />10. Citizens Forum. <br /> <br />(Citizens desiring to appear under this item must limit their presentation to <br />two (2) minutes in duration. Under the Open Meetings Law, because advance <br />notice of the subject matter of each presentation was not received in time to <br />appear on the agenda, City Council is limited in its response to referring the <br />matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with <br />specific factual information. Claims against the City and individual personnel <br />appeals are not appropriate for Citizens Forum). <br /> <br />11. Possible future agenda items. <br /> <br />12.
