<br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE PLANNING AND <br />ZONING COMMISSION <br />APRIL 3, 2006 <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning Commission met Monday, April 3, 2006, 5:30, <br />City of Paris, City Hall, Council Chambers, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas <br />with the following members present: <br /> <br />1. Reeves Hayter <br />2. Barbara Forrest <br />3. Benny Plata <br /> <br />4. Brad Archer <br />5. Richard Hunt <br />6. Marshall Kent <br /> <br />Lisa Wright, Director of Community Development, was also present. <br /> <br />1. The meeting was called to order by Reeves Hayter. <br /> <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (March 6,2006 regular <br />meeting). Motion was made to approve the minutes by Brad Archer, <br />seconded by Benny Plata. Motion to approve minutes carried by a <br />vote of 6 ayes and 0 nays. <br /> <br />3. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Jim Coplin for a change in <br />zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No.2 (SF-2) to a <br />Multiple-Family Dwelling District No.1 (MF-1) on a Lot4, City Block <br />259, being number 2565 E. Cherry. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />The petitioner was not present to speak in favor of the petition. <br /> <br />Jeanette Nash, 2601 E. Cherry, asked if Jim Coplin was leaving the <br />house or building duplexes at this location. She is in agreement <br />because it will be an improvement over what is there. <br /> <br />There was no one else present to speak regarding the petition, the <br />public hearing was declared closed. <br />
