MINUTES REGULAR MEETING AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD COX FIELD AIRPORT TERMINAL MEETING ROOM PARIS. TEXAS THURSDAY. SEPTEMBER 21. 2006 5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. 1. The Airport Advisory Board meeting was called to order by Chairman Vic Ressler. A. The following members were present: Glen Chapman Bill Boothe Jack Ashmore Harry Michaelwicz Ronnie Ballard The following members were absent: Andrew Fasken B. Also present was Lisa Wright, Airport Director; Jerry Richey, Airport Manager. 2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. (March 30, 2006; April 13, 2006). Motion was made to approve by Jack Ashmore, seconded by Vic Ressler. Motion carried 6-0. 3. Discussion of and possible action on hangar lease rates. Lisa Wright advised the Commission that, since TxDOT grants are received, the hangar lease rates need to in line with other airports that are comparable to ours. Ms. Wright presented an in-office survey ofthe airports that we have surveyed in the past. Meagan Caftall with TxDOT also provided a small list of other airports, some of which are not really comparable to Paris. Paris is higher than some and lower than some. Board members advised that they would like to see the lease rates of Bonham, Sulphur Springs, Mt. Pleasant, Gainesville, and Hugo, OK. Jack Ashmore and Harry Michaelwicz stated they thought we are in line with comparable airports and should leave the rates as is. Lisa Wright suggested submitting the survey we performed to Meagan with TxDOT and see if they are agreeable that Paris is in line with lease rates of airports comparable to Paris. Jack Ashmore made the motion to keep rates as they are for now and get a reading from TxDOT to see if they think Paris is in line with their rates, seconded by Glen Chapman. Motion carried 6-0.
