<br />, ',': <br /> <br />SECTION 7 - CLASSIFICATION - NON-CIVIL SERVICE <br /> <br />SECTION 7.01- Plan Administration <br /> <br />The City's Classification plan is the basis for pay for all employees in the classified system. <br />Positions are allocated to approved classifications based on organizational structure, job difficulty, <br />the assignment of duties and responsibilities. The Director of Human Resources or his designee <br />prepares and administers the Classification Plan subject to policies established by the City Manager <br />and/or City Council. The Classification Plan is reviewed annually as part of the budget process. <br /> <br />SECTION 7.02 - Position Reclassification <br />An employee in a position which is reclassified from one classification to another is allowed to <br />continue to serve therein with unimpaired status if the duties and responsibilities of the position are <br />not significantly changed or if the employee substantially meets the qualifications prescribed for the <br />new classification. <br /> <br />18 <br /> <br />Revised 01-25-05 <br />
