The Board of Directors <br />appointed Daniel Chief Operating Officer in 2005. Daniel has conducted CEO searches in 16 <br />states. He specializes in economic development, chamber of commerce, non-profit, government, <br />private industry, and healthcare executive search, strategic planning, and marketing consulting. <br /> <br />Prior to joining The PACE Group, Daniel was the President of the Franklin County, AL <br />Development Authority. The Franklin County Development Authority was a start-up organization <br />that hired Daniel to be its first President. During his time in Franklin County, Daniel announced <br />over 600 new jobs with investments totaling over $10,000,000 in just 18 months. <br /> <br />Before heading up development efforts in Franklin County, Daniel served under Kentucky <br />Governor Paul Patton of Kentucky as the youngest Director in the Revenue Cabinet. He managed <br />the $150M Coal Severance Tax program for the cabinet. <br /> <br />Prior to returning to public service, Daniel served in the private sector with Mountain Stone <br />Products of Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was responsible for all of the business aspects of this <br />small company including sales, marketing, and business development. <br /> <br />Upon graduation from college Daniel was asked by Governor Patton to join his staff and was <br />quickly promoted to Deputy Director of Appalachian Development. In this capacity he was able to <br />help create thousands of jobs in the Eastern part of Kentucky. <br /> <br />Daniel is a graduate of Millsaps College where he earned a degree in Business Administration.
