<br />March 14, 2007 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />5. Consideration of and action on recommending approval of the following <br />request for tax exemption: <br /> <br />A. 208 S. Main Street - Pat Crabtree - Motion was made to approve tax <br />exemption by Paul Denney, seconded by Susan Scholz. Motion carried <br />7-0. <br /> <br />6. Discussion of and possible action regarding the following structures <br />considered by code inspectors to be in violation of Article III of Chapter 7 of <br />the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, entitled <br />IISubstandard and Dangerous Buildings and Structures," to determine <br />whether such buildings or structures can be rehabilitated and designated on <br />the National Register of Historic Places, as a recorded Texas Historic <br />Landmark, or as historic property as designated by the City Council of the <br />City of Paris: <br /> <br />A. 930 Conner <br />B. 63 9th Street N. ~ <br />C. 906 Dickson <br />D. 716 ~ Garrett <br />E. 1520 10th Street N. ~ <br />F. 2600 block of 18th Street N.W. <br />G. 2526 19th Street N. ~ <br />H. 2708 19th Street N. ~ <br />I. 1305 E. Grove Street <br /> <br />Motion was made by Paul Burkhart, seconded by Brian Wear, to send all to the <br />Building and Standards Commission for demolition since they cannot be <br />rehabilitated nor do they have significant historical value. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />7. Receive draft and set special meeting for workshop to review Design <br />Standards. The consensus of the Commission was to add the workshop at <br />the end of the regular meeting on the 26th and change locations if necessary <br />since there is a Council meeting that night. <br />
