Convene in Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Texas <br />Government Code, Consultation with Attorney, to receive advice of legal <br />counsel pertaining to pending or possible litigation and to receive advice of <br />legal counsel pursuant to the duty of an attorney to his client under the Texas <br />Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas, <br />regarding the following matter: <br /> <br />A. Billy C. Brown v. The City of Paris, Paris Historic Preservation <br />Commission, and Thomas E. Haynes; Civil Action No. 4:04-CV81, United <br />States District Court of the Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Division. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Pike Burkhart, seconded by Susan Scholz, to convene <br />into executive session at 12:38 p.m. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Paul Denney, seconded by Susan Scholz, to reconvene <br />in open session at 12:47 p.m. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />9. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. The HPO handed out <br />a report. <br /> <br />10. Request items for future agendas. There were none. <br /> <br />11.
