Motion <br />was made to remove this item from the table by Brian Wear, seconded by <br />Sharron Nabors. Motion carried 6-0. Pike Burkhart stated that he didn't have <br />enough information to take action. Chairman Starrett stated that, if funding <br />is provided, then the Commission would support THC management. Motion <br />was made by Pike Burkhart, seconded by Brian Wear, to support the transfer <br />of the Maxey House to THC contingent upon funding and to send a letter of <br />support to Senator Eltife and other appropriate individuals. Motion carried 5- <br />1. <br /> <br />7. Receipt of report from the Historic Preservation Officer. The HPO reported <br />that she administratively granted COA's to the Library to replace marble at <br />entry way; to Starrett Funeral Home to place a temporary sign cover; and to <br />Danny Atnip to replace his roof. She also reported that a COA application <br />had been sent to Pat Crabtree for a fence around dumpster that has already <br />been installed. She stated that a letter will be send to the Roys on Church <br />Street because the fence posts were not of an approved material. Also, a <br />letter was sent to Billy Brown giving him 10 days to remove his chain link <br />fence. Finally, the HPO advised that she had received a contract from Sue <br />Ann Pemberton for completion of standards. She stated that she could go <br />ahead and take the contract to the City Council unless th Commission wanted <br />to review it and make a recommendation. <br /> <br />8.
