TEXAS <br />WEDNESDAY. JULY 11. 2007 <br />12:00 O'CLOCK P.M. <br /> <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by <br />Chairman Arvin Starrett. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />Paul Denney, Vice-Chairman <br />Susan Scholz, Secretary <br />Sharron Nabors <br />Ann Rogers <br />Nancy Partridge <br />Pike Burkhart <br />Brian Wear, Alternate <br /> <br />The following members were absent: <br />Alternate: Vanessa Preston <br /> <br />B. Also present were Lisa A. Wright, Historic Preservation Officer, and <br />Bethany Golden, Assistant Historic Preservation Officer. <br /> <br />2. Consideration of and action on the following Certificate of Appropriateness: <br /> <br />A. 208 Clarksville Street - Jimmye D. Newman - Motion was made to <br />approve COA by Brian Wear, seconded by Susan Scholz. Motion <br />carried 8-0. <br /> <br />B. 574 Church Street - Steven Assay, Agent for Owner - Motion was made <br />to approve COA by Susan Scholz, seconded by Ann Rogers. Motion <br />carried 8-0. <br /> <br />3. Consideration of and action on awarding the following facade grant: <br /> <br />A. 208 Clarksville Street - Jimmye D. Newman - Motion was made to <br />approve facade grant by Brian Wear, seconded by Susan Scholz. <br />Motion carried 8-0. <br /> <br />4. Request items for future agendas. There were none. <br /> <br />Paul Denney arrived at 12:05 p.m. <br /> <br />5. Meeting adjourned at 12:05 p.m. <br />
