<br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />MONDAY, AUGUST 6, 2007 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br /> <br />1. The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, <br />August 6,2007, was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Reeves Hayter. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Reeves Hayter, Chairman <br />Bobby Myers <br />Curtis Fendley <br />Barbara Forrest <br />Richard Hunt <br />Fran Neeley <br />Benny Plata <br /> <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Darin Manning <br />Brad Archer <br /> <br />C. Lisa Wright, Community Development Director, was also present. <br /> <br />Motion was made by Richard Hunt, seconded by Fran Neeley, to elect Curtis <br />Fendley as Temporary Vice Chairman. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes <br />of the July 2, 2007 meeting was made by Bobby Myers, seconded by Fran <br />Neeley. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />Benny Plata arrived at 5:37 p.m. <br /> <br />3. Public Hearing to consider the Site Plan of Lot 14A-5, City Block 259, being <br />number 2990 Pine Mill Road. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br />A. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. <br /> <br />Paul Vincent, owner of BeeHive Homes, 2990 Pine Mill Road, spoke in <br />favor of the petition. <br /> <br />Pavement will be added to the site plan to show the new area will match <br />the existing pavement. He initially thought the dumpster area would <br />look nicer as shown on the site plan, but instead he will add another <br />roll out bin and delete the dumpster since there is an issue with the <br />radius and the length of the drive. The sign area will be landscaped <br />with rocks and plants to make it neater due to the parking expansion. <br />
