<br />Garcia stated that they plan to build two-story town homes, and they <br />are deed restricted with 51% ofthe units to be 55 and older. The facility <br />will be gated. <br /> <br />B. Consideration of and action on the petition of Jim Gifford and Robert Metzger <br />for a change in zoning from an Aqricultural District (A) to a Multiple-Family <br />Dwelling District (MF-3) on Part at Lot 9, City Block 317, being number 2110 <br />Elk Hol/ow Drive. Motion was made by Curtis Fendley, seconded by Bobby <br />Myers, to approve the request. Motion carried 6-0. <br /> <br />6. Public hearing to consider the petition of Housing Associates of Paris, Ltd. <br />for a change in zoning from an Agricultural District (A) to a Multiple-Family <br />Dwelling District No.1 (MF-1) on an 11.613 acre tract of land, being a part of <br />the Reddin Russell Survey, Abstract No. 786, and being number 2810 <br />Stil/house Road. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />A. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. <br /> <br />Stacy Kinney, property manager, spoke in favor of the petition. Ms. <br />Kinney stated that the property was zoned MF-1, but annexed in as <br />Agricultural, so this is just housekeeping. <br /> <br />B. There was no opposition present. <br /> <br />C. The public hearing was declared closed. <br /> <br />7. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. <br /> <br />Wesley Lester, 820 19th Street N.W., spoke in favor ofthe petition. Mr. <br />Lester stated that he wants to move out by his father. The <br />neighborhood has not changed in several years, and there are mobile <br />homes already in the area. <br /> <br />B. There was no opposition present. <br />
