<br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PARIS - CITY HALL <br />COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS. TEXAS <br />MONDAY. OCTOBER 1. 2007 <br />5:30 O'CLOCK P.M. <br /> <br />1. The regular meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, <br />October 1, 2007, was called to order at 5:30 p.m. by Reeves Hayter. <br /> <br />A. The following members were present: <br />B. Reeves Hayter, Chairman <br />Curtis Fendley, Vice-Chairman <br />Barbara Forrest <br />Richard Hunt <br />Fran Neeley (arrived late) <br />Darin Manning <br /> <br />C. The following members were absent: <br />Bobby L. Myers <br />Brad Archer <br />Benny Plata <br /> <br />D. Lisa Wright, Community Development Director, was also present. <br /> <br />2. Approval of minutes from previous meetings. Motion to approve the minutes <br />of the September 4, 2007, meeting was made by Curtis Fendley, seconded by <br />Barbara Forrest. Motion carried 5-0. <br /> <br />Fran Neeley arrived. <br /> <br />3. Public Hearing to consider the petition of Kenneth E. Tucker for a change in <br />zoning from a One-Family Dwelling District No. 3 (SF-3) to a One Familv <br />District No.3 (SF-3J with a Specific Use Permit (39) Mobile Home on Lot 4, <br />Block 7, Belmont Addition, being number 1221 Fairfax. <br /> <br />The public hearing was declared open. <br /> <br />A. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition: <br /> <br />Kenneth E. Tucker, 859 13th Street N.E., stated that he wants to <br />improve the area. He presented photos to the Commissioners of the <br />proposed mobile home. Mr Tucker further stated that the house that is <br />there now will be torn down and he and his family will be living in the <br />mobile home. <br /> <br />B. There was no opposition present. <br />C. The public hearing was declared closed. <br />
