<br />4. Discussion of and possible action on recommending additional incentives in <br />the Historic Districts, including reduced permit fees, at-cost water taps, and <br />other expenses. Defer to next meeting since Arvin Starrett is not present. <br />Motion was made by Paul Denney, seconded by Susan Scholz, to table this <br />item until the next meeting. Motion carried 7-0. <br /> <br />5. Receipt of report from Susan Scholz regarding the Traditional Building <br />Exhibition and Conference. Susan Scholz stated the conference was October <br />16 thru the 20th in New Orleans. She stated she attended the entire <br />conference and recommends someone from this Board attend every time they <br />put this on. Ms. Scholz further stated the conference was very informative <br />and she learned a lot. It was a well attended event with a lot of tips for <br />restoration and a list of mistakes other cities have made. Also discussed <br />were availability of tax credits and the salvage dilemma. <br /> <br />6. Request items for future agendas. Incentives for Historic District. <br /> <br />7.
