conditioned upon said contractor entering into a contract with the City of Paris and satisfying all of the terms and conditions included in the bid documents attached hereto as Exhibit A. Section 3. That the bid of K& B Lawn Care, for furnishing labor, materials, and equipment and for performing all work required for grounds maintenance (mowing) on the remaining thirty- seven (37) locations, in the amounts shown on the attached bid documents, is hereby accepted as the lowest responsible bid which provides the best value to the City and the contract for these locations is hereby let conditioned upon said contractor entering into a contract with the City of Paris and satisfying all of the terms and conditions included in the bid documents attached hereto as Exhibit B. Section 4. That, if either of the low bidders referenced herein are unable to enter into a contract with the City of Paris or are unable to satisfy the terms and conditions of the bid documents, then a contract shall be awarded to the next low bidder, K&G Lawn Care & Landscaping as the alternate low bid, for furnishing labor, materials, and equipment and for performing all work required for grounds maintenance (mowing) on the twenty-nine (29) locations, in the amounts shown on the attached alternate bid documents, is hereby accepted as the lowest responsible bid which provides the best value to the City and the contract for these locations is hereby let conditioned upon said contractor meeting all of the terms and specifications included in the bid documents attached hereto as Exhibit C. Section 5. That, if it is necessary to use the alternate bid award, the bid of Powell Landscaping will then include two (2) additional locations, being the Fire Field and 2200 Blk. College St. as shown on the attached alternate bid tabulation. Section 6. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to negotiate and execute all necessary documents for the grounds maintenance (mowing) on City of Paris parks and facilities with the successful low bidders as indicated herein. Section 7. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 11"` day of February, 2008.
