The overall percent asbestos for the sample is reported when relevant. The EPA considers a material to ye asbmtps containing <br />only if it contains greacar than one percent asbescos by Calibrated Visual Area Estimetion (CyAE). EPA regulations also indicate that Regulated qsbestos Conteining <br />Materials (RACM) - materials that are friable or may become friable - be further analyud by point couniing when the results indicate less than ten percent asbestos by <br />CVAE. CatesLab utilizes CVAE on a routine basis <br />except in fiill and dces not i~lude point counting umless specifcally requested by the client. The results may rwt be reproduced <br />. <br />
