The overall percent asbestos for the sample is roported when relevant. The EPA considers a material to be asbestos containing
only if it contains greater than one percent asbescos by Calibrated Visual Area Estimation (CVAE). EPA regulations also indicate that Regulated qsbesWS Containing
Materials (RACM) - materials that are friable or may become friable - be further analyud by point counting when the results indicate Ioss than ten percent ffibestos by
CVAE. CatesLab utilizes CVAE on a routine basis and does not include point counting unless specifically requesud by the clirnt The results may not be reproduced
except in full.
