REGULAR MEETING <br />OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF PARIS <br />Apri114, 2008 <br />The City Council of the City of Paris met for a regular session at 6:00 P. M. Monday, April <br />14, 2008, at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman, Paris, Texas. <br />Present: Mayor: Jesse James Freelen <br />Council Members: Kevin Gray; Stephen Brown; Will Biard; Don <br />Wilson; and Bill Strathern, Mayor Pro Tem <br />City Staff: Kevin Carruth, City Manager; Kent McIlyar, <br />City Attorney; Janice Ellis, City Clerk; Gene <br />Anderson, Finance Director; Shawn Napier, <br />City Engineer; Lisa Wright, Community <br />Development Director; Tom Hunt, Municipal <br />Court Judge; Kent Klinkerman, EMS Director; <br />Karl Louis, Chief of Police; and Doug Harris, <br />Interim Director of Utilities <br />Absent: Council Member: Mary Ann Fisher <br />Openin~genda <br />1. Call meeting to order. <br />Mayor Freelen called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. <br />2. Invocation. <br />Gene Anderson gave the invocation. <br />3. Pledge of Allegiance. <br />Council Member Brown led the pledge. <br />4. Citizens Forum. <br />Belinda Zanfardino, 3160 Mahaffey -expressed concern that the water would get <br />contaminated if the City allowed Oklahoma water to go through Lake Pat Mayse. She also said the <br />Lake Pat Mayse Study Committee should investigate this issue. <br />Robert Brunson, 2598 Clark Lane -spoke in opposition of the proposed ordinance prohibiting <br />recreational vehicles, boats and trailers from being parked in yards. <br />w Ot~7,jL <br />
