MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD November 20, 2007 City Hall Council Chambers 107 E. Kaufman 4:00 ~.m. A meeting of the members of the Paris Main Street Advisory Board was held Tuesday, November 20, 2007 at 4:02 p.m., at City Hall Council Chambers. PRESENT: Larry Womack Pike Burkhart Zach Saffle Matthew Coyle Wyatt Bowden Kari Daniel Karol Lyn Moore Jennifer Long Marvin Gorley ABSENT: Cindy Allcorn Lisa House Election of Executive Officers Pike Burkhart nominated Wyatt Bowden to serve as chairman of the board, Matt Coyle offered to serve as vice chairman and Kari Daniel volunteered to serve as secretary. Pike Burkhart made a motion to accept the nominations as presented and Marvin Gorley seconded the motion. All other board members were in favor of the nominations and the vote passed unanimously. Minutes September 26, 2007 minutes were reviewed by board members and a motion was made by Pike Burkhart to approve the minutes as prepared. Matt Coyle seconded and minutes were unanimously approved. -Laws A brief discussion was held regarding the adoption of proposed bylaws prepared and presented by Bethany Golden, Main Street Manager. Pike Burkhart stated that he would like to have a little more time to review the material before actually adopting the bylaws. Pike Burkhart made a motion to table the bylaws until the December meeting. Karol Lyn Moore seconded the motion. All other board members were in favor of tabling the bylaws and the vote passed unanimously. New Board Member The board discussed the three nominations that were turned in to the Main Street Manager. Clifton Fendley, Angela Thurman and Jean Maninger names were submitted for review. All of these individuals would make great assets to the advisory board however Clifton Fendley is the only individual who resides within the city limits.
