MINUTES OF THE REGULAR <br />MEETING OF THE <br />MAIN STREET ADVISORY BOARD <br />November 20, 2007 <br />City Hall Council Chambers <br />107 E. Kaufman <br />4:00 ~.m. <br />A meeting of the members of the Paris Main Street Advisory Board was held Tuesday, November 20, <br />2007 at 4:02 p.m., at City Hall Council Chambers. <br />PRESENT: Larry Womack <br />Pike Burkhart <br />Zach Saffle <br />Matthew Coyle <br />Wyatt Bowden <br />Kari Daniel <br />Karol Lyn Moore <br />Jennifer Long <br />Marvin Gorley <br />ABSENT: Cindy Allcorn <br />Lisa House <br />Election of Executive Officers <br />Pike Burkhart nominated Wyatt Bowden to serve as chairman of the board, Matt Coyle offered to <br />serve as vice chairman and Kari Daniel volunteered to serve as secretary. Pike Burkhart made a <br />motion to accept the nominations as presented and Marvin Gorley seconded the motion. All other <br />board members were in favor of the nominations and the vote passed unanimously. <br />Minutes <br />September 26, 2007 minutes were reviewed by board members and a motion was made by Pike <br />Burkhart to approve the minutes as prepared. Matt Coyle seconded and minutes were unanimously <br />approved. <br />-Laws <br />A brief discussion was held regarding the adoption of proposed bylaws prepared and presented by <br />Bethany Golden, Main Street Manager. Pike Burkhart stated that he would like to have a little more <br />time to review the material before actually adopting the bylaws. Pike Burkhart made a motion to <br />table the bylaws until the December meeting. Karol Lyn Moore seconded the motion. All other board <br />members were in favor of tabling the bylaws and the vote passed unanimously. <br />New Board Member <br />The board discussed the three nominations that were turned in to the Main Street Manager. Clifton <br />Fendley, Angela Thurman and Jean Maninger names were submitted for review. All of these <br />individuals would make great assets to the advisory board however Clifton Fendley is the only <br />individual who resides within the city limits.
