Ciry of Pans <br />Tomado-damaged Apartments 23 buildings <br />Paris, Texas <br />April 03, 2007 <br />Page 2 <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />This bid proposal includes the following environmental construction services: <br />1) Cleanup & Removal, 23 buildings at 7`h & Henderson (Comer <br />buildings not owned by City of Paris). Asbestos Abatement of <br />asbestos containing building material throughout tornado damaged <br />area. • <br />2) Complete demolition of slab and removal of associated parking lot. <br />Responsibilities of Owner or Others / Bid Qualifications: <br />1) Owner to provide / allow use of site Water & Electrical sources (if <br />available), restrooms (if available), parking for DTECH employees. <br />2) Bid is based on the asbestos materials exposed for abatement by <br />prior tornado. <br />3) Other hazardous mate(als, if present, are excluded from our bid. <br />Owner to notify DTECH of any other hazardous materials prior to <br />project start. Owner is responsible for all costs, testing, notification, <br />abating, or delays caused from other materials. <br />4) Per OSHA regulation Owner / Owner's agent to notify any <br />- subcontractors, employees affected by the asbestos abatement <br />work prior to DTECH's mobilization. <br />5) DTECH will be excused for any delay beyond our reasonable <br />' control. These delays may include, but are not limited to Acts of <br />God, labor disputes, accidents, inclement weather, acts of public <br />authority, acts of the Owner, or other unforeseen contingencies. <br />6) If required, any alteration and/or deviation from this proposal <br />involving a change in costs will be executed only upon written <br />orders. Additions will become an extra charge over and above this <br />bid proposal. <br />- 000154 <br />
