Development of National Standards for the Installation of Electromagneti~ Flow Meters, Project manager, U. S. EPA, Cincinnati,
Ohio. The project included the development of national standards for the installation of electromagnetic type flow meters or all
sizes. The project was conducted by the U. S. EPA and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (previously the
NBS).

. Development of National Standards for the Installation of Venturi Tubes and Venturi Nozzles, Project manager, U. S. EPA,
Cincinnati, Ohio. The project included the development of national standords for the installation of venturi tube and venturi
nozzle type flow meters or all sizes, The project was conducted by the U. S. EPA and the Notional Institute of Standards and
Technology (previously the NBS).

. Water and Wastewater Master Plan, Edinburg, Texas, Principal-in-Charge for a Wastewater Master Plan for the City of Edinburg
and its extraterritorial jurisdiction, including several colonias. This Master Plan will guide the City's development in water and
wastewater for the next twenty years. Total planning area covered 136 squore miles. The following areas of concern are being
studied ii': order to evaluate and make recommendations for the City's infrastructure:
- Analyze current waste water system and future demands
- Evaluate existing wastewater collection .focilities
- Evaluate existing wastewater treatment facilities
- Analyze current wastewater system and flow records
- Evaluate existing pumping and treatment facilities
- Development of water and wastewater hydraulic models

As a tool for evaluating these concerns, a Geographic Information System (GIS) for the City wos developed concurrently with an
overall Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). Financial requirements associated with the CIP were identified as well as potential
funding sources. In addition, several lift stations were eliminated because of the analysis.

. Raw Water Pump Station and Transmission Line, City of Palestine, Texas; Principal-In-Charge for the design of a 15 MGD raw
water pump station and 11 miles of 36-inch raw water transmission main. The praject includes improvements to an existing
intake structure, a new electrical and chlorine dioxide building, stand-by generator sets, the pump station, and the
transmission main. Services being provided include right-of-way acquisition, surveying, preparation of a design report, design,
surge analysis, construction administration, and construction inspection. Estimated construction costs are S 8 million.

. Raw Water Pump Station and Transmission Line, Kinder Morgan; Quality Control for this project that includes 27 -miles of
transmission main, a balancing reservoir, and a new raw water pump station. Design flow for the project in southeast
Oklahoma is 5 MGD and the estimated project costs are $10 million.
