Professional Experience Mr. Shaw has more than 30 years of experience specializing in management consulting related to public infrastructure including water, wastewater, solid waste and storm water. He specializes in financial planning and analysis, financial modeling, asset management, information systems technology, operations management, organizational analysis, performance measurement and benchmarking. Mr. Shaw has performed more than 100 related financial analyses of utilities including rate studies, financial modeling, and review of impact and special fees. Mr. Shaw formerly directed KPMG Peat Marwick LLP's consulting services to government owned utilities from 1980 through 1995. Before joining KPMG in 1980, Mr. Shaw was employed at a major metropolitan water and wastewater utility as a Special Projects Manager and as the Assistant Director af Business where he supervised all accounting, finance, rate, meter, information system, customer service and budget activities. Since, 1980, Mr. Shaw has completed an average of 40 hours per year of training focusing on government and utility services, covering the functions of financial management, information systems and operations management.
