Public hearing was declared open. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition: John Janes, 4310 Lakeshore Dr., Reno, stated his wife is a nurse practitioner and is in business for herself. They will make necessary modifications to the building (very minimal) for parking and handicapped accessibility. The property is located across from Dr. Lee's office, the Frame shop is to west, and down the street is a flower shop. Parking will be in front of house. Norma McLaughlin, stated she has lived here for 41 1/2 years. This was residential when they moved in, but the street has become mostly businesses. She said it would be hard to sell their home as a residence now. There was no opposition present. Public hearing was declared closed. Motion was made by Curtis Fendley, seconded by Brad Archer, to approve the petition. Motion carried 6-0. Motion was made by Richard Hunt, seconded by Benny Plata, to recuse Reeves Hayter. Motion carried 5-0. Vice-Chairman took over the meeting. 6. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the Revised Site Plan for Holiday Inn Express/Comfort /nn Suites on Lot 1, B/ock A, Khushi & Esha 318 Addition, being located in the 3000 b/ock of Loop 286 N.E. Public hearing was declared open. The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition: Brad Osborne, Hayter Engineering, stated they didn't previously include enough parking for the client's wishes, so they revised the site plan. There was no opposition. Public hearing was declared closed. Motion was made by Brad Archer, seconded by Richard Hunt, to approve the Revised Site Plan. Motion carried 5-0. 7. Consideration of and action on the Rep/at of Lots 1 and 2, B/ock A, Khushi & Esha 318 Addition, being /ocated in the 3000 b/ock ofLoop 286 N.E.
