Public hearing was declared open. <br />The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition: <br />John Janes, 4310 Lakeshore Dr., Reno, stated his wife is a nurse practitioner <br />and is in business for herself. They will make necessary modifications to the <br />building (very minimal) for parking and handicapped accessibility. The <br />property is located across from Dr. Lee's office, the Frame shop is to west, <br />and down the street is a flower shop. Parking will be in front of house. <br />Norma McLaughlin, stated she has lived here for 41 1/2 years. This was <br />residential when they moved in, but the street has become mostly businesses. <br />She said it would be hard to sell their home as a residence now. <br />There was no opposition present. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by Curtis Fendley, seconded by Brad Archer, to approve the <br />petition. Motion carried 6-0. <br />Motion was made by Richard Hunt, seconded by Benny Plata, to recuse <br />Reeves Hayter. Motion carried 5-0. Vice-Chairman took over the meeting. <br />6. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the Revised Site Plan for <br />Holiday Inn Express/Comfort /nn Suites on Lot 1, B/ock A, Khushi & Esha 318 <br />Addition, being located in the 3000 b/ock of Loop 286 N.E. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition: <br />Brad Osborne, Hayter Engineering, stated they didn't previously include <br />enough parking for the client's wishes, so they revised the site plan. <br />There was no opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Motion was made by Brad Archer, seconded by Richard Hunt, to approve the <br />Revised Site Plan. Motion carried 5-0. <br />7. Consideration of and action on the Rep/at of Lots 1 and 2, B/ock A, Khushi <br />& Esha 318 Addition, being /ocated in the 3000 b/ock ofLoop 286 N.E.
