Design Committee Report - 3 budgeted area. Feel it is very important to get the outline of the buildings done. Meters need to be <br />installed and need to have merchants work with on this, no stiil no pricing on this. 4 meters have to be installed along with the lighting it <br />self. Regular or LED lights changes prices. c(ifton asked if there was some kind of easement for the building owners. Has been talked <br />about. Cindy asked if Downtown merchants were going to be taken care of lighting around building. They will not be taking care of it <br />but they will help with this with any money they may have raised. When we agree to do this project then easements would be <br />addressed. Decide the biggest impact we can. <br />Hargis electric has looked at pricing to do trunk of trees and main veins of the trees. <br />Up-(ights - 12 lights to flood $5192. - year round lights <br />$1000 - Suggest LED lights that we will purchase. $1000 is labor only. 12 trees wrapped. - putting them up and taking them down. <br />$1955 - Electricity to get down the trees, conduit under the sidewalks to have electric to the four corners. <br />Trees have receptacles at the base of the trees so lights can be wrapped. <br />Cindy has contacts trying to get lights. <br />Light pole Garland could be donated. $16 per pole just Christmas. We do have Gariand for 20 - 24 poles. <br />People are waiting for us to get a plan. $5000 has to be spend by October 1 st. Got to get a plan first. <br />Full $500 still available <br />Market Square used a little but mostly all there <br />Grounds $400 still available <br />Clifton asked if the conduit could be considered grounds. <br />Some budgets will be renewed. <br />Could we spend that $5,000 by October? Building lights probably could not be done by October.? No. <br />We could have meters installed? Yes <br />Go ahead and start getting city attomey to write letter and get building owners start. <br />Marvin - Do we have a program in effect to keep lights looking nice? It will be set up by city. Lights will not be the responsibility of <br />each individual owner. <br />Have 4locations where to put khe meters. <br />Us $1500 to do lighting and then go ahead and get meters installed and easements done. <br />Cindy - looking at getting someone to underwrite the $10,000. <br />Bethany - Design committee get a plan for what downtown what to look like. Need to have a plan first! <br />Building outline a priority. <br />Matthew Coyle made the motion that we make lighting along buildings priority. KaroLynn Moore seconded. Cindy only oppose. <br />Grounds -$4000 use for downtowm planters for all four corners. Attached diagram. <br />Matt make motion to use green planters and Kari seconded to do green. Passed <br />That only approves the placement of the planters. <br />Market Square - Antique lights cost $3000 per pole. <br />Marvin thought increasing the lighting would increase the usage <br />Wyatt made a motion that we identify the sports facility priority first marvin second passed <br />Cast stone 40.5inch diameter. Have been approved though HPC. Will be used for season ptanting. <br />Cindy All-corn made the motion to have lighting priority and planters be secondary. Clifton Fendley seconded the motion and it passed <br />unanimously. <br />Get perennials for corners at Mazket Square. $500 quote for plants. Entry plants can be taken out even up. <br />Bethany suggested to meet with Parks before major decisions are made. <br />Promotions Committee Report - Most of the report for this committee was covered in presentation. Movies will begin on July I Oth and <br />Continue ever Thursday through July 31 st. Ramp it Up will be on July 26th.
