CITY COUNCIL AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in work session at 5:00 p.m. followed immediately by meeting in regular session on Monday, November 10, 2008. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufinan Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows: Opening Agenda l. Call meeting to order. 2. Invocation. 3. Pledge of Allegiance. 4. Citizens' forum. (Persons desiring to address the Council must limit their presentation to no more than two minutes. The Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Council from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the City, Council Members, or employees, as well as individual personnel appeals are not appropriate for citizens' forum.) Consent Agenda Items on the Consent Agenda are approved by a single action of the Council, with such approval applicable to all items appearing on the Consent Agenda. A Council Member may request any item to be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. 5. Deliberate and act on a resolution awarding the bid for four 2009 Ford Crown Victoria police patrol cars. 6. Deliberate and acceptance of monthly financial report. 7. Report on actuals for the 2007-2008 budget year. 8. Deliberate on drainage ditch maintenance report. 9. Report on goals and objectives. lO.Deliberate on Casa Bonita demolition project. 11.Report on demolition of dilapidated houses. 12.Deliberate and act on a resolution approving a license and service agreement with CivicPlus for web site design for the City of Paris; and authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. Regular Agenda 13.Second reading, deliberate, and act on an Ordinance establishing rates of speed on certain portion of F.M. 79 within the city limits of the City of Paris.
