THENCE South 89015' 49" West with a fence a distance of633.26 feet to a found iron rod at the southwest comer of the said 128.76 acre tract ofland; THENCE North 60 40' 54" West with a fence a distance of 2.50 feet to a found iron rod; THENCE North 00 45' 03" West with a fence a distance of 1194.33 feet to a set iron rod; THENCE North 880 57' 03" East with a fence a distance of83.63 feet to a found iron rod; THENCE North 00 35' 52" West a distance of 141.12 feet to a point for comer; THENCE East a distance of385.5 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 00 35' West a distance of 140.0 feet to a point for comer; THENCE East a distance of 1050,0 feet to a point for comer; THENCE South 460 14' East a distance of207.88 feet to an iron pin found for corner; THENCE South a distance of 876.40 feet to an iron pin found for comer; THENCE South 60 00' 57" West to a point in the existing Paris city limit line as described in Tract 5 of said Ordinance No. 97-059, said point being a distance of 500 feet from the centerline ofF. M. 195; THENCE southwesterly along the existing city limit line, being at all times a distance of 500 feet from the centerline ofF. M. 195, to the point of beginning, and containing 48.42 acres, more or less; and, WHEREAS, said tract ofland is contiguous and adjacent to the current city limits ofthe city of Paris, Texas, and is not more than one-half (1/2) mile in width; and, WHEREAS, said petition fully conformed with the requirements of Section 6 of the Charter of the City of Paris and Section 43.028 of the Local Government Code; and, WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 12th day of March, 2001; and, WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the same, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2001-021 granting such petition to annex said territory into the city of Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all things approved.
