<br />"(1) Daily pass $2.00 per person; <br />"(2) Daily pass group rate (20 or more people) $1.00 per person; <br />" <br /> <br />"(6) Day care group rate (20 or more people) $1.00 per child. Arrangements <br />must be made for day care by contacting the department of parks and <br />recreation. " <br /> <br />Section 3. That all other terms and provisions of Section 23-77 of the Code of Ordinances <br />not amended by the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />Section 4. That there is hereby adopted to Chapter 23, Parks and Recreation, of the Code <br />of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Texas, a new Article N, to be entitled "Regulations and Fees for <br />In-Park Programs", said new Article N to read as follows: <br /> <br />"ARTICLE IV. REGULATIONS AND FEES FOR IN-PARK PROGRAMS <br /> <br />"Sec. 23-90. Rules and regulations for in-park programs. <br /> <br />"All recreational or other programs conducted in the city's parks must be authorized <br />by the city's director of parks and recreation. The director of parks and recreation <br />shall promulgate and enforce any and all rules and regulations necessary to the <br />conduct of such programs in the city's parks, including, but not limited to, soft ball <br />programs, golf camps, other similar camps, park pals, diamond skills, NYSCA <br />coaching clinics, other similar clinics, hunter safety, start smart, and any and all other <br />programs authorized by the director of parks and recreation. <br /> <br />"Sec. 23-91. Fees. <br /> <br />"(a) Where the city council has not established by ordinance specific fees for various <br />park-related programs, the director of parks and recreation shall be and is hereby <br />authorized to impose such fees as shall be necessary to recover the city's expenses <br />incident to such programs. <br /> <br />"(b) The director of the department of parks and recreation may establish a <br />scholarship program to assist economically disadvantaged families and individuals <br />in improving their quality oflife through the recreational programs offered by the city <br />in its parks. Such scholarships will be available for all programs and amenities in the <br />city's parks as the director of parks and recreation shall determine. <br /> <br />"Sec. 23-92. Violations; penalty. <br /> <br />"Any person violating any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to exceed two <br />thousand dollars ($2,000.00), and each and every day's continuance of any violation <br />of this article shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense." <br />
