<br />Be it ordained by tIle city council of the city of Paris:
<br />
<br />SEC. I. Whenever the majority of the board of appraisers,
<br />selected in accordance with the provisions of section 32 of the
<br />charter of the city of Paris, may determine the value of the prop-
<br />erty sought to be condemned and the damage accruing to the
<br />owner, or owners thereof, by reason of su<:h condemnation for use
<br />of the city, such board of appraisers, or a majority of the same,
<br />shall report their finding to the city council of the city of Paris in
<br />writing, which finding and awards shall be ordered recorded in the
<br />minutes by the city secretary, and when the amount of such award
<br />is p:tid bÿ thc city to the owner of such property so condemned,
<br />and accepted by him, such payment and acceptance shall vest in
<br />the city of Paris the use of such property so. condemned for the
<br />purpose of such condemnation as fully as a deed for such property
<br />for such use could convey.
<br />SEC. 2. If the owner of such property should fail or refuse
<br />to accept payment from the city of the amount so awarded by the
<br />board of arbitrators, then and in that event the city shall have die
<br />right to place in the hands of the city treasurer the amount of such
<br />
