<br />AN ORDIN ANCE punishing the failure to pay occnpation and license taxes.

<br />Be it ordained by the city council of the city of Paris:
<br />
<br />SEC.!. Any person, firm, or corporation, who shall engage
<br />in, pursue, or follow any occupation, business, calling, or profes-
<br />sion, which by the ordinance of the city of Paris is subject to a
<br />license, or occupation tax, without first having paid such license
<br />tax, or occupation tax, shall be fined in the sum of $10.00, ten
<br />dollars, for each day they may pursue, engage in, or follow such
<br />occupation, calling, business, or profession.
<br />SE( ,2. This ordinance to be in effect from and after its
<br />passage and ten days publication.
