THENCE East a distance of 1000.00 feet to a 1/2" capped (JMN - 4025) iron pin (s) for corner; THENCE South a distance of 589.19 feet to a 1/2" capped (JMN - 4025) iron pin (s) for corner; THENCE North 89011'58" West along a fence along a South Boundary Line of said Dunnagan 130.5 acre tract and along the Northerly North Boundary Line of said Townwood 99.54 acre tract, a distance of 684.95 feet to the place of beginning and containing 505,848.03 square feet ofland, or 11.613 acres ofland; and, WHEREAS, said tract ofland is contiguous and adjacent to the current city limits of the city of Paris, Texas, and is not more than one-half (l/2) mile in width; and, WHEREAS, said petition fully conformed with the requirements of Section 6 ofthe Charter of the City of Paris and Section 43.028 of the Local Government Code; and, WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council on the 12th day of July, 2004; and, WHEREAS, after hearing such petition and the arguments for and against the same, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2004-122 granting such petition to annex said territory into the city of Paris, Texas; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the following described property, to-wit: Being all that certain tract of land situated about 2.5 miles North 300 East of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Reddin Russell Survey #786, and being a part of a called 130.5 acre tract of land conveyed to May Belle Dunnagan by deed recorded in Vol. 210, Page 286, of the Deed Records of said County and State. Beginning at a 3/8" iron pin (t) for corner at an original el corner of said Dunnagan 130.5 acre tract, said corner being the Northeast corner of a called 18.4 acre tract of land conveyed to Richard B. Swint by deed recorded in Vol. 526, Page 880, of said Deed Records, said 18.4 acre tract of land originally being a part of said Dunnagan 130.5 acre tract, said corner also being the Northerly Northwest corner of a called 99.54 acre tract ofland conveyed to Townwood Development Co., Inc., by deed recorded in Vol. 511, Page 188, of the Real Property Records of said County and State.
