That the proposal ofMHS Planning & Design, attached hereto as Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby, accepted. Section 3. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, a professional services contract with MHS Planning & Design, under the terms and conditions and in a form approved by the City Attorney. Pfies , ay WHEREAS, the City of Paris is in need of consulting services for the development of a Sports Complex; and, WHEREAS, MHS Planning & Design has made a proposal for such services, and the City Council finds and determines that the services are necessary to the development of a successful sports center and MHS Planning & Design should be awarded a professional services contract for the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: RESOLUTION NO. 2001-044 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF MHS PLANNING & DESIGN FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF A SPORTS COMPLEX AND AWARDING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
