The rationale for this conclusion is discussed throughout the study.

The data collected in the surveys displays many characteristics of the work force (defined as
anyone willina and able to work; and between the aaes of 16 and 75). The following
percentages used in the summary reflect the percent of respondents for Lamar County (n=350)
and the Northeast Texas Region (n=1,175).

1 The study defines the Northeast Texas Region as the entire call area: Delta, Hunt, Hopkins, and
Lamar Counties.
