Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Lisa Wright recommended denial. <br />Motion was made by Chester Martindale, seconded by Rodney Bass, to deny <br />the petition. Motion carried 4-0. <br />4. Public hearing and consideration of and action on the petition of Hayden <br />Swaim to grant a variance of the River Oaks Final Plat, filed in enve/ope <br />number374-D, to reduce the side yard setback from 10'to 5; which would be <br />a 5'variance, on Lot 5, Block C, River Oaks Addition, being number 3020 Aikin <br />Drive. <br />Public hearing was declared open. <br />The following individuals spoke in favor of the petition. <br />Hayden Swaim, 3645 Reno Drive, Mr. Swaim stated he is asking for 5' because <br />that's what the ordinance has. Built house in center of lot which puts it 8' on <br />either side. Mack Ross will give him 2' and will have to replat. <br />No one spoke in opposition. <br />Public hearing was declared closed. <br />Terry Christian stated would like to see commitment that Hayden Swaim will <br />follow thru with replat and the board still grant variance. <br />Motion was made by Rodney Bass, seconded by Louis Yates, to approve the <br />petition.
