MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2009 <br />12:00 0'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Paul Denney, <br />Vice-Chairman. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Paul Denney, Vice Chairman <br />Ben Vaughan <br />Susan Scholz, Secretary <br />Matt Coyle <br />Jerry Raper <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chairman <br />Brad Archer <br />C. Also present was Lisa Wright, Historic Preservation Officer, and Bethany Golden, <br />Main Street Manager. <br />2. Approval of minutes fYOm previous meetings. (December 10, 2008) Motion was made by <br />Susan Scholz, seconded by Ben Vaughan, to approve the minutes for December 10, 2008. <br />Motion carried 5-0. <br />3. Consideration of and actiorz on the following Certif cate of Appropriateness: <br />A. 122 Bonham - Daniel Atnip, Wyatt Bowden represented Daniel Atnip. Motion was <br />made by Susan Scholz, seconded by Matt Coyle to approve the COA. Motion carried <br />5-0. <br />B. 30 Clark-sville Street - Artesia Enterprises, LLC, Alex Pickering represented Artesia <br />Enterprises, LLC. Motion was made by Susan Scholz, seconded by Jerry Raper to <br />approve the COA. Motion carried 5-0. <br />C. 10 Clar-ksville Street - B.A. Sessums, Alex Pickering represented B.A. Sessums and <br />stated that the sign wording may change, but the colors and font will be the same as <br />shown. Motion was made by Susan Scholz, seconded by Jerry Raper, ta approve the <br />COA. Motion carried 5-0. <br />D. 133 Lamar Avenue - SoHo Shoes and Accessories, Karol Lyn Moore stated that the <br />sign is identical to the others, but the post is shorter so as not to obstruct the <br />Bowden's sign and will be placed to the right side of the storefront. Motion was <br />made by Susan Scholz, seconded by Matt Coyle, to approve the COA. Motion <br />- UHU2`I <br />
