Proposed Proiect Activities <br />Our coverage area is approximately 8,000 square miles with a population of just over 400,000 over twelve counties. <br />There are over 750,000 vehicles registered in our area with an estimated five (5) percent average increase over our <br />coverage area. We assist with cases in forty (40) different agencies. The agencies in our area are smaller agencies with <br />no full-time auto theft investigators. We have had the same number of officers since the inception in September, 1994. <br />The Northeast Texas ATTF with DPS MVTS has one training class schedule for May and another planned in the fiscal <br />year. <br />ABTPA- 7 <br />- ~ ,1143 <br />
