(40) Section 506.1.2 shall be added to read as follows: <br />Section 506.1.2 Key Box. A key box shall be provided on each <br />occupancy with a fire alarm system or fire sprinkler system. The <br />key box shall contain keys for each locked doorway within the <br />building and each elevator. The keys shall be identified as to the <br />corresponding locks. <br />(41) Section 508.3.1 shall be added to read as follows: <br />Section 508.3.1 Private Fire Hydrant Markings. Private Fire <br />Hydrant shall have caps and bonnets painted a color in <br />according with NFPA 291 Section 5.2.1.2 The barrel of the <br />hydrant shall be painted red as to distinguish them from public <br />hydrants. <br />(42) Section 508.5.1 shall be amended as follows: <br />508.5.1 Where required. Where a portion of the facility or <br />building hereafter constructed or moved into within the City of <br />Paris is more than 500 feet from a hydrant on a fire apparatus <br />access road, as measured by an approved route around the <br />exterior of the facility or building, on-site fire hydrants and <br />mains shall be provided where required by the Fire Code <br />Official. <br />1. PROTECTED PROPERTIES. Fire hydrants required to provide <br />a supplemental water supply for automatic fire protection <br />system shall be within 100 feet of the fire department <br />connection for such systems. <br />2. FIRE HYDRANT LOCATIONS. Fire hydrants shall be located 2 <br />feet to 6 feet back from the curb or fire lane and shall not be <br />located in the bulb of a cul-de-sac. <br />(43) Section 511 shall be added to read as follows: <br />SECTION 511 EMERGENCY RADIO COMMUNICATIONS <br />511.1 Signal strength in buildings. In all new and existing <br />buildings in which the type of construction or distance from an <br />operational emergency services antenna or dispatch site does <br />not provide adequate frequency or signal strength, as <br />determined by the Fire Code Official, the building owner shall <br />17 <br />. 00(1'1$5 <br />
