(93) Table 2306.2 shall be amended by replacing the text of 'footnote <br />j" to read as follows: <br />Where areas of buildings are equipped with early- <br />suppression, fast-response (ESFR) sprinklers, only <br />manual smoke and heat vents shall be required within <br />these areas. <br />(94) Section 3301.1.3 shall be amended to read as follows: <br />3301.1.3 Fireworks. The possession, manufacture, storage, <br />sale, handling and use of fireworks are prohibited. <br />Exceptions: <br />1. Only when approved for fireworks displays, <br />storage and handling of fireworks as allowed in <br />Section 3304 and 3308. <br />2. The use of fireworks for approved display as <br />allowed in Section 3308. <br />The presence or use of fireworks within the jurisdiction of the <br />City of Paris in violation of this ordinance is hereby declared to <br />be a common and public nuisance. The restrictions of this <br />Section shall be applicable and in force throughout the territory <br />of the City of Paris, Texas. The owner, lessee or occupant of the <br />property or structure where fireworks are being stored or used <br />shall be deemed responsible for violating this section. <br />(95) Section 3301.7.1 shall be added to read as follows: <br />3301.7.1. The Fire Code Official or his designee, or any peace <br />officer authorized to enforce the Ordinances of the City of Paris, <br />may seize and destroy illegal fireworks prior to a court <br />appearance and a photograph of such seized and destroyed <br />fireworks will provide sufficient evidence of a violation of <br />Section 3301.1.3 for the municipal court. <br />(96) Section 3302 shall be amended, in part, by amending the <br />definition of "fireworks" to read as follows: <br />FIREWORKS.
