Marshal of the City of Paris Fire Department. <br />(c) Any reference to the "International Building Code" or the <br />"International Existing Building Code" shall mean the Building <br />Code as adopted and amended by the City of Paris, Texas. <br />(d) Definitions of terms in the Fire Code and the Building Code shall <br />be interchangeable. <br />Sec.12-53. Fire Code Amendments. <br />The following local amendments repeal and reenact or add sections to <br />the 2006 International Fire Code for the purpose of consistency with specific <br />past practices. These amendments shall supersede, replace and/or <br />supplement the 2006 International Fire Code as follows: <br />(1) Section 101.1 shall be amended to include the following: <br />Title. These regulations shall be known as the FIRE CODE of the <br />City of Paris, Texas hereinafter referred to as "this Code" <br />(2) Section 102.1 be amended by adding the following subsection: <br />5. The provisions of this code apply to buildings built under <br />the International Residential Code and International <br />Building Code. <br />(3) Section 102.4 shall be amended to include the following: <br />102.4 Application of building other codes. The design and <br />construction of new structures shall comply with this code and <br />the Building Codes adopted by the City of Paris, Texas; and any <br />alterations, additions, changes in use or changes in structures <br />required by this code, which are within the scope of the <br />International Building Code, shall be made in accordance <br />therewith. <br />(4) Section 102.6 shall be amended to read as follows: <br />102.6 Referenced codes and standards. The codes and <br />standards referenced in this Code shall be those that are listed <br />in Chapter 45 and such codes, when specifically adopted, and <br />standards shall be considered part of the requirements of this <br />Code to the prescribed extent of each such reference.
