watch for fire. When utilized, the number required shall be as <br />directed by the Fire Code Official. Charges for utilization shall <br />be as normally calculated by the jurisdiction. <br />TWO-WAY HOSE CONNECTION. A fire hose connection <br />having both external 2~/z-inch National Hose Standard threads <br />and external 1~/z inch National Hose Standard threads. <br />Section 302.1, Definitions, shall be amended as follows: <br />Add two sentences to the end of the definition of "Bonfire" <br />that reads: Bonfires shall not be any larger than 2400 cubic feet <br />prior to ignition and the fuel shall not be constructed to be <br />higher than 12 feet. The Fire Code Official may allow projections <br />to be higher than 12 feet if, in his opinion, the hazard is not <br />increased by allowing such. <br />Add a sentence to the end of the definition of "Open <br />Burning" that reads: Recreational fires and bonfires are types of <br />open burning. <br />Add the following definition: <br />TRAINING FIRE. A fire conducted by the Paris Fire <br />Department, or other entity as allowed by the Fire Code Official, <br />for the sole purpose of training in the extinguishment of fires. <br />Proper notification must be given to TCEQ in accordance with <br />the Texas Outdoor Burning Rule. <br />Section 307.2, Permit required, shall be amended to read as follows: <br />A permit shall be obtained from the Fire Code Official in <br />accordance with Section 105.6 prior to kindling a fire for open <br />burning. Application for such approval shall only be presented <br />by, and permits issued to, the owner or the owner's authorized <br />representative of the land upon which the fire is to be kindled. <br />The Fire Code Official may revoke any permit that is found not <br />to be in compliance with this section, causing said permit to be <br />null and void and any fees related to the permit shall not be <br />refunded. <br />Permits and permit holders shall also comply with: <br />1. Texas Commission of Environmental Qualiry rules and <br />regulations. <br />9 <br />96 C, 0 0 01 6..L <br />
