Section 1504.4 Fire Protection. shall be amended, in part, to read as <br />follows: <br />Spray booths and spray rooms installed, constructed , or <br />remodeled after the adoption of this code shall be protected by <br />an approved automatic fire-extinguishing system (remainder <br />ofsection unchanged} <br />Section 2204.1 Supervision of dispensing. shall be amended to read as <br />follows: <br />The dispensing of fuel at motor fuel-dispensing facilities <br />shall be in accordance with the following: <br />1. Conducted by a qualified attendant; or, <br />2. Shall be under the supervision of a qualified <br />attendant; or, <br />3. Shall be an unattended self-service facility in <br />accordance with Section 2204.3. <br />At any time the qualified attendant of item #1 or #2 above is not <br />present, such operations shall be considered as an Unattended <br />self-service facility and shall also comply with Section 2204.3. <br />Section 2302, Definitions, shall be amended by adding a second <br />paragraph to the definition of "High-Piled Combustible Storage" to read <br />as follows: <br />Any building exceeding 12,000 sq. ft. that has a clear <br />height in excess of 12 feet, making it possible to be used for <br />storage in excess of 12 feet, shall be considered to be high-piled <br />storage and shall comply with the provisions of this section. <br />When a specific product cannot be identified, a fire protection <br />system shall be installed as for Class IV commodities, to the <br />maximum pile height. <br />Table 23062, General Fire Protection and Life Safety Requirements, shall <br />be amended by replacing the text of "footnote j" to read as follows: <br />j.
