Brady Environmental Services, Inc. <br />1.1.6.3 Each full differential pressure containment shall be <br />constructed using two layers of 4 mil polyethylene <br />where needed to create false walls and ceilings. <br />1.1.6.4 A minimum of two layers of six (6) mil poly shall be <br />used where needed to cover unaffected floors. <br />1.1.6.5 A decontamination unit consisting of a dirty room, <br />shower, and clean room shall be installed as specified <br />in the regulations for each containment constructed to <br />complete the project. Required storage for clean <br />clothes and respirators shall be provided. <br />1.1.6.6 The shower shall be equipped with hot and cold water <br />and personal hygiene supplies as specified in the <br />regulations. Shower water shall be filtered through <br />two or more staged filters to at least 5 microns and the <br />filtered water shall be discharged to the sanitary <br />sewer. Each decontamination unit shall be in the <br />location submitted by the contractor and approved by <br />the consultant. <br />1.1.6.7 Two chamber bag-out units shall be established as <br />required by the regulations and the wash water shall <br />be filtered to. a minimum of 5 rnicrons as specified for <br />shower water. The wash water shall be discharged to <br />the sanitary sewer. Each bag-out facility shall be in <br />the location submitted by the contractor and approved <br />by the consultant. <br />1.1.6.8 The consultant will conduct ventilation smoke testing <br />and shall approve each containment, decontamination <br />facility, bag-out and the differential pressure level <br />prior to any removal activities. <br />1.1.6.9 At least two observation windows shall be used for <br />each containment which is constructed to complete <br />the project. These observation windows shall be <br />placed in strategic locations to allow multiple viewing <br />angles and locations. The consultant's representative <br />shall indicate those areas where observation windows <br />shall be installed. <br />-4- CS09055 <br />
