Representatives of those departments and agencies assigned emergency functions in <br />this plan will staff the EOC. EOC operations are addressed in Annex N(Direction and <br />Control). The interFace between the EOC and the incident command post is described in <br />paragraph V.E above. <br />6. Our Alternate EOC is located at Paris Police Department. This facility will be used if our <br />primary EOC becomes unusable. <br />C. Line of Succession <br />1. The line of succession for the Mayor is: <br />a. Mayor Pro Tem <br />b. Most Senior Council Person <br />c. City Manager <br />d. Police Chief <br />2. The line of succession for the City Manager is: <br />a. Finance Director <br />b. Chief of Police <br />3. The line of succession for the Emergency Management Coordinator is: <br />a. Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator <br />b. Police Chief <br />c. Police Patrol Supervisor <br />4. The lines of succession for each of our department and agency heads shall be in <br />accordance with the SOPs established by those departments and agencies. <br />VIII. READINESS LEVELS <br />A. Many emergencies follow some recognizable build-up period during which actions can be <br />taken to achieve a gradually increasing state of readiness. We use a four-tier system. <br />Readiness Levels will be determined by the Mayor or, for certain circumstances, the <br />Emergency Management Coordinator or Police Chief.
