POLICY ISSUE(S): Traffic safety BACKGROUND: A request was made to the traffic coinmission concerning vehicles parking in the 2300 block Stillhouse Road blocking view of traffic turning from Levi Lane. It was reported that vehicles parked on the east side of Stillhouse Road block the view of northbound traffic on Stillhouse for drivers stopped on Levi Lane waiting to turn. Currently a"No Parking Zone" does not exist in the 2300 block Stillhouse Road, west of Chili's Restaurant. The "No Parking Zone" request was presented to the Traffic Commission on January 5, 2010. The Commission Yecommended on a 5-0 vote that a"No Parking Zone" be placed on east side of the road in the 2300 block Stillhouse Road. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: The Traffic Coinmission recommends establishment of a"No Parking Zone" in the 2300 block of Stillhouse Road on east side of road.
