10 -Ordinance amending the Traffic Control Map to place a no parking zone in the 2300 block of Stillhouse Rd

Minutes Traffic Commission City of Paris The Traffic Commission met on Tuesday, January 5th, 2010, at 5:15 P.M. in the Municipal Courtroom with the following members present: 1. Ken Kohls 2. Ray Banks 3. Jon McFadden 4. Stephen Holmes 5. George Kimbrough The city staff was represented by Asst. Chief Randy Tuttle. Councilman Joe McCarthy was present a council liaison member The meeting was called to order at 5:17pm by Chairman Kimbrough. A quorum was established by 5 members being present. Mr. Kimbrough asked the commission members to review the submitted minutes of the November 3rd, 2009 meeting. Mr. Banks made a motion to approve the minutes which was seconded by Mr. Holmes and passed 5-0. Mr. Kimbrough moved to item #3 regarding the discussion and action for a request to place a No Parking Zone on the east side of Stillhouse Road north of Loop 286 and south of Levi Lane. After discussion of this item Mr. Banks made a motion to place a No Parking Zone on the east side of Stillhouse Road north of Loop 286 and south of Levi Lane. The motion was seconded by Mr. Kohls and passed 5-0. Mr. Kimbrough moved to item #4 to regarding discussion and action concerning a request for a No Parking Zone on the south side of E. Cherry St. between N. Main and 1St NE. This item had been tabled at October 6, 2009 meeting. A motion to remove item from table was made by Mr. Holmes and second by Mr. Kohls. Motion passed 5-0. After discussion of this item a motion to deny the request was made by Mr. McFadden and second by Mr. Kohls. Motion passed 5- 0. Mr. Kimbrough moved to item #5 regarding future agenda items.
