4. Consider-ation of'and actiora on tlae following Fa(ade Grant.• A. 946 South Main Street - Douglas Cox presented the petition. Motion was made by Susan Scholz, seconded by Ben Vaughan to approve the Faqade Grant. Motion carried 5-0. Discussion of and possible action on recomrraeizdations fi•om the sub-committee on Historic Presefvation handouts for the public. Ben Vaughan stated in Matt Coyle's absence he would like to come back to the commission. No action taken. 6. Discussion of and possible action on period lighting.fixtures for the Maxey House. Lynn Deal, Site Manager for the Sam Bell Maxey House addressed the coirunission. Coinmissioners requested additional information on proposed lighting placement and fixture requireinents. Ms. Deal stated she will investigate and get back to the commission. No action taken. 7. Discussion of aizd possible action on purchasing commemorative coins to be issed as a.fundraiser , for- Leaderslzip of Lamar• Countv to benefit tl2e Perisryle project. Shannon Barrentine addressed the commission. Ms. Barrentineprovided handouts of the proposed commemorative coin. Ms. Barrentine stated to produce 100 coins it will cost $698.00, before setup fees each coin will cost the City $4.00 each, they are proposing a sale price of $20.00 each. Ms. Barrentine further stated that each coin will come with a capsule to protect it. Motion was made by Susan Scholz, seconded by Jerry Raper to approve the disbursement of funds for $698.00 to purchase the commemorative coins. Motion carried 6-0. 8. Reguest items,for• future agendas. Robert Talley report to the commission regarding repair of historical structures. 9.
