4. Consider-ation of'and actiora on tlae following Fa(ade Grant.• <br />A. 946 South Main Street - Douglas Cox presented the petition. Motion was made by <br />Susan Scholz, seconded by Ben Vaughan to approve the Faqade Grant. Motion <br />carried 5-0. <br />Motion was made by Susan Scholz, seconded by Ben Vaughan to return Douglas Cox to the <br />meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br />5. Discussion of and possible action on recomrraeizdations fi•om the sub-committee on Historic <br />Presefvation handouts for the public. <br />Ben Vaughan stated in Matt Coyle's absence he would like to come back to the commission. No <br />action taken. <br />6. Discussion of and possible action on period lighting.fixtures for the Maxey House. Lynn Deal, Site <br />Manager for the Sam Bell Maxey House addressed the coirunission. Coinmissioners requested <br />additional information on proposed lighting placement and fixture requireinents. Ms. Deal stated <br />she will investigate and get back to the commission. No action taken. <br />7. Discussion of aizd possible action on purchasing commemorative coins to be issed as a.fundraiser <br />, for- Leaderslzip of Lamar• Countv to benefit tl2e Perisryle project. Shannon Barrentine addressed the <br />commission. Ms. Barrentineprovided handouts of the proposed commemorative coin. Ms. <br />Barrentine stated to produce 100 coins it will cost $698.00, before setup fees each coin will cost the <br />City $4.00 each, they are proposing a sale price of $20.00 each. Ms. Barrentine further stated that <br />each coin will come with a capsule to protect it. Motion was made by Susan Scholz, seconded by <br />Jerry Raper to approve the disbursement of funds for $698.00 to purchase the commemorative <br />coins. Motion carried 6-0. <br />8. Reguest items,for• future agendas. Robert Talley report to the commission regarding repair of <br />historical structures. <br />9.
