Proposed Evaluation Design (See Instructions on page 18) <br />The Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force sergeant will meet monthly with the Chief of Police, <br />Sheriffs, And Prosecutors in the coverage area in an effort to provide ongoing evaluation of the program. <br />The statistical data used for the evaluation is as follows: <br />1. Number of auto theft cases <br />2. Number of auto theft related cases <br />3. Number of BMV cases <br />4. Number of auto theft cases presented to and accepted by the prosecutors of each <br />county <br />5. Number of seizure cases <br />6. Number of vehicles, parts, or other property that is recovered <br />7. Number of salvage yards, car dealers, and repair shops inspected <br />8. Number of vehicles inspected <br />9. Number of training classes presented to officers <br />10. Number of agencies assisted <br />11. Number of public awareness programs <br />The Task Force members meet weekly with the Criminal Investigation Divisions of agencies in our <br />coverage area.
